Bio:
Douglas Gansler was elected Maryland’s Attorney General in 2006. He served previously as the State’s Attorney for Montgomery County and as Assistant U.S. Attorney, where he personally prosecuted over 1,000 cases. In addition to his prosecutorial experience, Gansler practiced civil litigation in private practice and he began his legal career as a law clerk for the Maryland Court of Appeals. Gansler earned his JD at the University Of Virginia School Of Law.
