Bio:
Alisha Morgan is in her fifth term in the Georgia House of Representatives, where at age 23 she became the first African-American to represent her district, Cobb County. She serves on the Children and Youth, Education, Governmental Affairs, and Health and Human Services Committees and has become a statewide leader in the movement for education reform. Morgan is also a speaker, trainer and author of the book, No Apologies: Powerful Lessons in Life & Politics. She is a graduate of Spelman College, where she earned degrees in sociology and drama.
