Bio:
Forsan is an investor, entrepreneur, operator, and a turnaround CEO. Currently he serves as Managing Partner of F8 Capital, an investment fund with an opportunistic strategy capturing differentiated mid-duration special situation investment opportunities in frontier markets—Israel, Africa and Arab World.
Prior to F8, Forsan was the Founding Managing Partner of Zaitoun Ventures, an investment management company and a start-up studio with $25M AUM investing in Israeli Arab and Jewish early stage technology companies. In 2009, Forsan assumed the role of a turnaround Chief Executive Officer of the Jerusalem International YMCA and the Three Arches Company.
After business school, Forsan worked in investment management for Capital Group Companies—3 trillion USD in AUM. Forsan became the first ever Palestinian to chair a publically traded company on the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange (BSP and IceCure). Currently, he is the Chairman of Hasoub Angels, an Angel investment club, and DoxyTech, a renewable energy company, and mentors various startup CEOs and volunteers with community organizations and nonprofit.
Forsan is a Kauffman Fellow for innovation investing, a fellow at the Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, and a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum. Forsan holds a B.A. from Brandeis University, M.A. in international economics and international relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and MBA from Harvard Business School.
