Bio:
Sara Mohammadi is the Chief Executive Officer of the Family Business Council - Gulf, a private, non-profit focused on enabling the sustainability of GCC family businesses. Prior to FBCG, Sara worked as a management consultant with Dubai Holding, Monitor Deloitte (formerly Monitor Group), and Arthur D. Little on strategy, turnaround, and policy-making in various sectors including banking, real estate and telecom. Sara has initiated various non-profit ventures in Iran, including TEDxTehran (first TEDx event in Iran) and Karamaan, first non-profit to connect students to internships, apprenticeships and volunteering opportunities in the private sector. Sara holds a master’s degree in International Political Economy with distinction from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a dual bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Relations from Tufts University (Summa Cum Laude). In 2003, she received the Distinguished Award in International Relations from Tufts University for her efforts in building academic exchange between USA and Iran. Sara is a Fellow of the fifth class of the Middle East Leadership Initiative at the Aspen Institute.
