Bio:
Nyrika Holkar is Executive Director of Godrej & Boyce. She leads the legal and corporate advisory functions for all 14 companies. The businesses include furniture, appliances, security, process equipment, logistics, material handling, aerospace, precision engineering, energy, tooling and construction. She is also involved in talent management, portfolio strategy, knowledge management and risk management across the businesses. She is driving the turnaround of their energy business which provides engineering, procurement and construction services to government owned distribution and transmission companies and to private companies for solar energy projects.
Prior to joining Godrej, she specialised in non-contentious merger and acquisition transactions at AZB & Partners.
Nyrika is on the board of the Centre for the Advancement of Philanthropy, which provides compliance and legal advice to non-governmental organisations in India and that of Jaldhaara Foundation a non-profit organisation that fundraises for water purification projects in India and spreads awareness on hygiene and sanitation in rural India.
She studied law at the University of London and is a qualified solicitor. She did her BA from Colorado College in Philosophy and Environmental Economics and graduated Summa cum Laude. She lives in Mumbai with her husband Yeshwant and daughter Arianne. She is a Fellow of the sixth class of the Kamalnayan Bajaj Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
