Title and Organization:
Bozoma (Boz) Saint John is the Chief Marketing Officer for WME Entertainment where she will oversee marketing for all of the holding companies of Endeavor including WME and IMG. She was formerly Chief Brand Officer for Uber and before that she served as Head of Global Consumer Marketing for Apple Music and iTunes. Boz and her team of marketing and digital experts were responsible for conceiving and implementing strategic campaigns geared towards growing consumer brand recognition, loyalty and equity around the world. For iTunes, Boz oversaw initiatives for all verticals including film, TV, movies, books and various other forms of entertainment content. Before Apple Music and iTunes, Boz was head of the Music and Entertainment Marketing Group at Pepsi-Cola North America, where she drove consumer engagement plans for brands across the soda giant’s beverages portfolio. Previously, Boz served as VP of Marketing and eCommerce for fashion brand Ashley Stewart, as well as at advertising agency management at Arnold Worldwide and Spike Lee's SpikeDDB. Boz has received several recognitions, including Billboard Magazine’s “Top Women in Music” and “Top Executives 40 Under 40”, Fast Company’s “100 Most Creative People”, African Health Now’s inaugural “Gift of Life Leadership Award”, BET’s Leading Women Defined “Butterfly Award”, Ebony Magazine’s “100 Powerful Executives”, an invitation to Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Next Gen Summit, and covered AdWeek as one of the most exciting personalities in Advertising. She also contributes her expertise to various groups including serving on the Leadership Council for the United Nation’s partnership with the PVBLIC Foundation, and as a mentor for the Levo League. In the fall of 2014, Boz was inducted in the American Advertising Federation Hall of Achievement and she now serves on the Hall of Achievement Executive Committee. In 2016, she gave the keynote to Apple’s World Wide Developers Conference. Boz earned her B.A. in African American studies and English from Wesleyan University. She is a member of the 2017 Class of Henry Crown Fellows within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.
