Regional Director for Africa, International Telecommunication Union
Bio:
Andrew Rugege is the regional director for Africa at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the UN specialized agency for telecom and ICT. He is also the representative of the ICT to the UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the African Union Commission (AUC) in Ethiopia. He is responsible for collaboration with and assistance to the ITU member states in Africa and the development of telecommunications/ICTs in the continent.
