Cara began her career at Milliken before moving to TCI Tire Centers where she oversaw 15 regional logistics centers and built a Supply Chain and Logistics Department. It is her success in this field as well as European project management which brought her to the attention of Michelin. The speed of Cara's career evolution and increasing responsibility at Michelin, including her expatriation in France where she was responsible for the development of the European logistics division, evidences her drive and determination to succeed in the traditionally male-dominated manufacturing sphere. Fluent in French, Cara serves on the Board of Directors for the Womens Leadership for the United Way and Clemson University's College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences. Clemson University has recognized Cara twice for her leadership with the prestigious Young Alumni Awards from its College of Science & Engineering and College of Industrial Engineering.
