Bio:
Lan Shi is co-chair of Hyde Capital Group, an investment group with a portfolio in technology, culture, infrastructure, and education sectors. She is experienced and resourceful in venture capital, technology, consulting and education sectors. Prior to establishing Hyde Capital, Lan was the partner at Cybernaut (China) Investment, and had worked for HP, Hewitt, and Towers Perrin as consulting manager and director. Lan is passionate about education and innovation. She founded spaceyun, a co-working and innovation platform in 2015. Lan also serves as the chair for MHS Innovation Forum, the regional chair for MIT Educational Council in China, the executive secretary-in-general for China Education 30 Forum, and the entrepreneurship mentor for many universities and cities. Lan lives in Shanghai, China. She earned her bachelor's degree in marketing from Fudan University in China, and a master of engineering degree from MIT. Lan is a Fellow of the fifth class of the China Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
