Dan Draper is the managing director and global head of the exchange traded funds (ETFs), unit investment trusts (UITs) and closed-end funds for Invesco. Invesco is the world's fourth largest ETF provider with $235 billion in assets under management. It has been the industry pioneer in offering smart beta and factor-based ETFs to investors, winning numerous innovation awards since its founding in 2002 as PowerShares ETFs. Prior to joining Invesco, Dan held asset management, wealth management and investment banking leadership positions in New York, London, Hong Kong and Jakarta with Credit Suisse, Société Générale, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, UBS, and Salomon Brothers. Dan earned his MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his BA in economics from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Market Technician (CMT), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations. Dan is a chartered director and Fellow at the Institute of Directors in the UK and a Board Leaders Fellow at the National Association of Corporate Directors in the US. He is a board member for the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Delta Dental of Virginia and AlphaPoint (a FinTech Blockchain solutions provider). Dan lives in Chicago with his wife and three daughters. Dan is a Fellow of the 2017 class “Twogether” of the Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
