Bio:
Saira Ramasastry, MPhil, MS, is founder and managing partner of Life Sciences Advisory, LLC, an independent impact firm focused on accelerating cures for patients in need. Prior to founding Life Sciences Advisory, Saira helped found and establish the life sciences investment banking group at Merrill Lynch and was responsible for emerging biotechnology coverage for 10 years. She is a guest lecturer for the bioscience enterprise program and serves on the board of Cambridge in America. Saira serves on the industry advisory board of the Michael J. Fox foundation, is head of business and sustainability for the several Innovative Medicines Initiative programs, and was a special advisor for the G8 dementia initiatives. Saira has a bachelor’s degree in economics with honors and distinction from Stanford University where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and advanced degrees in applied math and management studies from Stanford University and the University of Cambridge. Saira is a Fellow in the third class of the Health Innovators Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
