Bio:
Lani Hay is the Founder, President and CEO of LMT Inc., a national security consulting company. Lani began her career as a Military Intelligence Officer and Naval Aviation Observer in the US Navy, completing several tours overseas. Lani was recognized as one of Fortune’s 40 Under 40 in 2013; as one of Goldman Sachs Builders+Innovators Summit’s 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs, and one of STEMconnector’s 100 Women Leaders in STEM in 2012; one of EY’s 2011 Entrepreneurial Winning Women; one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs in 2009; and many others. She was awarded the Department of Defense’s Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Achievement Award and the Small Business Administration’s National Minority Small Business Person of the Year Award, all in 2007. Lani earned her BS in mathematics from the United States Naval Academy and holds an MBA from the College of William & Mary’s Mason School of Business. She is a member of the 2018 Class of Henry Crown Fellows within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.
