Pumeza Bam has over 20 years’ experience in human resources in the public sector, education, financial services and information technology sectors. Currently, she is the Executive: Human Captial at Liberty Holdings Ltd. Previously, she was the Executive Director: Human Resources at EOH Holdings Ltd.
She is also the Chairman of Aligned-SA – an education professional services agency; and serves on the board of SA-Learns – a social enterprise whose vision is to build a learning nation. She is a trustee of the EOH Youth Job Creation Initiative Trust.
She was schooled at Woodridge College, has a BSc (Biochemistry) from The University of KwaZulu- Natal and a PMD & Board Leadership Certificates from GIBS. She is a certified member of the Institute of Directors and a registered Chartered HR Professional with The South African Board of People Practices (SABPP). She is a Fellow of the eleventh class of the Africa Leadership Initiative - South Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
