Title and Organization:
Raymond Tsai, MD, MS is serving as Director of Clinical Innovation and Informatics for The Wonderful Company's Health and Wellness initiative. Wonderful Health and Wellness' mission is to transform the paradigm of health and wellness in California's Central Valley, while dramatically improving health outcomes for The Wonderful Company's employees, their families, and the communities in which they live and work.
Raymond obtained a BA in Music: Vocal Performance from UC San Diego before deciding to pursue a career in healthcare. His career started at WHO in Geneva, Switzerland as a Technical Officer for Traditional Medicine, where he contributed to numerous WHO publications regarding safety and evidence base of herbal medicines. He then received an MS from Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health and graduated as the Wilinsky Award recipient recognizing his top academic performance in Health Policy and Management. Afterward, he moved to post-Katrina New Orleans to manage an $8.8 million grant to rebuild school-based health centers and started up the New Orleans Schweitzer Fellowship Program. From there, he obtained an MD from Stanford University School of Medicine, where he was recognized with the Yang Chiao Wang Award for excellence and leadership in Family Medicine, and completed his Family Medicine residency at UCLA.
