Chen Yang is founder of a healthcare investment group with portfolio consisting but not limited to leading radiation proton therapy technology, health services, large medical device manufacturing in Asia, Middle East, Europe and Americas. As Founder and Chairperson of Popular Line Medical Group, and as Chairperson of Sino-Israeli Health Alliance, Chen lead the acquisition of a leading team in compact particle therapy, set up manufacturing in China, and solidified the global first sale for the group.
Chen is Founder and Chairperson of Red Fields Capital, which trades commodities, and conducts investments and asset-backed financing advisory work globally.
Previously, Chen was in Fixed Income at Citigroup and Bank of America, in Singapore, Hong Kong and United States, where she structured and sold securities for institutional clients.
Chen is an advocate for social impact. Chen worked with her family to converted a 200-year old stone village at the foothill of the renown holy mountain of Taishan into an eco-tourism boutique hotel. Chen is an active member of India China Economic and Cultural Council. Chen is President of Wellesley Club of Beijing and a member of the Wellesley Business Leadership Council. Chen is a founding donor of the Runhua Foundation for Autism in China and actively supports special education, therapy and clinical research towards autism.
Chen received her MBA from INSEAD in France and Singapore, with a focus on finance and entrepreneurship. Chen received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wellesley College in United States, majoring in International Relations and French. Chen is a Fellow of the Aspen China Fellowship Program.
