Chen Yang is founder of Red Fields Group, which invests in healthcare , trades commodities and provides advisory to companies globally.
Red Field’s healthcare portfolio consists of radiation proton therapy technology, health services for physical and / or neurological rehabilitation, medical device manufacturing in Asia and the Middle East. As Founder and Chairperson of Popular Line Medical Group, and as Chairperson of Sino-Israeli Health Alliance, Chen lead the acquisition of a leading team in compact particle therapy, set up manufacturing in China, and ran global finance and strategy for the group.
Previously, Chen was in Fixed Income at Citigroup and Bank of America, in Singapore, Hong Kong and United States, where she structured and sold securities for institutional clients.
Chen is an advocate for social impact. She converted a 200-year old stone village at the foothill of the holy Taishan Mountain into an health retreat boutique hotel. Chen practices mindfulness, martial arts, sings, paints and enjoys reading. She tries to carry out her beliefs while practicing business in general.
Chen is President of Wellesley Club of Beijing and a Board Member of the Wellesley Business Leadership Council. Chen is a Trustee of Dana Hall School in Wellesley, MA, USA. Chen is founder of the Runhua Foundation for Autism in China and actively supports special education, therapy and clinical research towards autism.
Chen received her MBA from INSEAD in France and Singapore, with a focus on finance and entrepreneurship. Chen received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wellesley College in United States, majoring in International Relations and French. Chen is a Fellow of the Aspen China Fellowship Program.
