Sunny Sun is the CFO and CPO of Yitu Technology, a company dedicated to integrating advanced AI technology business applications to build a safer, faster and healthier world. She previously served as the chief growth officer (CGO) of Yum China Holdings Ltd. (NYSE YUMC) and began her role in August 2016. Sunny joined YUM! Restaurants China in May 2015 and served as Vice President of Finance, Chief Strategist, and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining YUM, Sunny was a Senior Managing Director at CVC Capital Partners Asia Pacific, a top quartile private equity firm, from June 2010 to October 2014. Before that, she was the head of mergers and acquisitions, greater China, at Daimler AG (DAI.F) from October 2001 to June 2010, and a senior manager of corporate development for Danone Asia Pacific (BN.PA) from 1998-2001. Sunny holds an MBA from Oxford University Said Business School. Sunny originally grew up in Beijing, China. Sunny is a Fellow of the 2018 class of the Aspen Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
