Bio:
Rodrigo Gómez Alarcón is managing partner of Capital Indigo, a private equity and debt investment fund in Mexico. Rodrigo is a former director of Promecap, a leading Mexican private equity firm, where he led and executed more than 30 private equity and private debt transactions for over 15 years in different economic sectors. Prior to joining Promecap, Rodrigo was a senior financial consultant at Accenture in Madrid, Spain. He was also a director of corporate banking at BBVA Bank and Santander Bank for 5 years. Rodrigo is currently a board member of Avalúos de México and Tasvalúo, previously serving also as board member of Unifin Financiera, Grupo Industrial Santa Engracia, and Maizoro. Rodrigo was designated in 2019 to act as a financial and damages expert in a multibillion-dollar international arbitration claim at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (agency of the World Bank) in Washington, D.C. He is a founding member of the Steering Committee of the 30% Club in Mexico, a global campaign led by Chairs and CEOs taking action to increase gender diversity at board and senior management levels. Rodrigo also participates as a staff member in the Mexico City Chapter of CISV, a global organization dedicated to educate and inspire for peace through building inter-cultural friendship, cooperation, and understanding for a more just and peaceful world. Rodrigo earned his bachelor´s degree in economics from ITAM, Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, and an international MBA from the IE Business School in Madrid. Rodrigo is a Fellow of the 2018 class of the Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
