Title and Organization:
Ibukun Oyedeji is CFO for the Ecobank Group (a Pan-African financial institution with presence in 36 countries). She is also the managing director of EDC Fund Management Limited, the asset management arm of the Group in Nigeria. Prior to this role, she worked with FBN Capital Asset Management Limited as the head of fixed income and money market team. Ibukun also worked at Guaranty Trust Bank Plc (a Nigerian commercial bank) as well as Goldman Sachs International, HSBC Global Markets, and Morgan Stanley International while based in the UK. She has over 19 years’ experience in fund/asset management, credit analysis, treasury management and securities trading. Ibukun holds an honors degree in economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and a master's degree (MSc) in international securities, investment and banking from ISMA Centre, now Henley Business School, University of Reading. She is a CFA Charterholder and member of the CFA Society Nigeria and CFA Society UK. Ibukun is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a graduate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) Nigeria. Ibukun currently serves on the Board of CFA Society Nigeria as its vice president and on the Executive Council of the Personal Financial Planning in Nigeria. Ibukun is dedicated to philanthropy through her local church and other platforms like “Gift-a-Shoe Initiative” that provides school shoes for the less privileged students and “Femi Coker Foundation”, which focuses on the education of disabled children. Ibukun is a Fellow of the 2018 class of the Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
