Rachael Speegle, RN, MBA, is CEO and cofounder of The Verdes Foundation, a fully vertically-integrated cultivator, processor, and distributor of medical cannabis headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico. At The Verdes Foundation Rachael has successfully guided the organization's growth into new products and markets and has developed an innovative approach to evidence-based nursing in medical cannabis delivery. Under her leadership, The Verdes Foundation has received numerous awards, including awards for corporate responsibility, a family-friendly workplace, and innovation in cannabis delivery. She currently serves as VP of the New Mexico Cannabis Chamber of Commerce, an appointee to the Governor's Cannabis Working Group for the state of New Mexico, and a consultant to cannabis licensees in seven states. She is a frequent speaker on behalf of the organization and a rising voice in the industry. Prior to The Verdes Foundation, Rachael was a critical care nurse at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. She previously worked for the American Red Cross and danced professionally for the Jose Limon Dance Company and Alvin Ailey Dance Company, both in New York. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of New Mexico. Rachael is a Fellow of the fourth class of the Health Innovators Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
