Lorena Arce Quirós is director of commercial and corporate banking and the leasing business unit at BAC Credomatic. Since she was only 21 years old until today, BAC has given her the opportunity to grow as a professional. She started as a personal account executive and became the first female telemarketing chief at BAC, in charge of
leading the mass opening of checking accounts in the national market for the first time. Afterwards, she led the Commercial Banking and Corporate Banking Unit for 12 years, and became the first generation of the Central American BAC Leaders Program. Lorena was born in San Carlos and attended María Inmaculada School in Ciudad Quesada. When she was 17 years old, she moved to San José to start her University degree. Since she was 13 years old, she was very clear about her future and decided to major in economics. Lorena is an economist from Universidad Latina, and also holds an MBA from National University, Banca INCAE, PAP INCAE Business School. Lorena is a mother, wife, an analytical woman, a goal-setter who loves teamwork, who is sensitive, and a BAC leader who wants to continue growing and making her mark in her country and the rest of Central America. Lorena is a Fellow of the fourteenth class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
