David Bullón is co-founder of Micelio, a boutique consulting firm that supports visionary leaders in education, government and business to catalyze bold systemic changes rooted in personal development and transformative innovation. Prior to founding Micelio, David held several roles in public service, most recently as Director of Innovation for the Costa Rican Ministry of Science, Innovation, Technology and Telecommunications. Prior to his time in government, David managed impact evaluations of entrepreneurship programs in Peru with Innovations for Poverty Action, and advised microfinance institutions in India with Access Development Services. He also managed innovation projects for Black and Decker in the United States and Mexico. He is an Advisory Board member for Equity for Humanity and a Board Member of the Center for Urban Sustainability. David received the Accenture Public Service Innovation Award (2012) and was a World Economic Forum Global Shaper. He holds a Master in Public Administration in International Development from Harvard University and lives in Costa Rica, where he spends as much time as he can in nature. David is a Fellow of the fourteenth class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
