Bio:
Shannon Ricchetti is the Program Coordinator for the Health Innovators Fellowship at the Aspen Global Leadership Network. She facilitates nominations and seminars for the program. Prior to joining the Aspen Institute, Shannon spent two years working as a Research Associate with the Organization of American Historians, which expanded on her two years working with the National Association of Olmsted Parks. During those four years, she conducted independent research and worked with other historians to develop scholarly projects and publications. These projects included two books, a report to the National Park Service, and a lecture to the American Society of Landscape Architects. Shannon graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in 2016 with a BA in American Studies and was granted departmental honors for her thesis, “Frederick Law Olmsted Sr. and the Louisville, KY Park System.” Upon graduating, she was awarded the J. Fred and Nancy B. Sener Prize in American Studies. Shannon is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa Academic Honor Society. While growing up in the DC metro area, she followed developments in health care on a national stage. Her interest intensified through her research on parks systems and the effects of natural spaces on the physical, psychological, and emotional wellbeing of individuals.
