Bio:
Award winning Choreographer, Mentor & Artpreneur, Madhu is a trans cultural collaborator, who believes in cross illumination fuelling her vision to inhabit the public domain through the potent medium of Movement Arts . She represents Kamalnayan Bajaj Fellowship / KBF7. Education, Climate action, healing, social equity, empowerment, form a powerful undercurrent in all her interactions. She was chosen one of India’s 50 Young Achievers, awarded by Government of India, given a title by the Karnataka Government , Federation Of Indian Chambers Of Commerce & Industry, for her service to the field of Education & Culture. With a background in Commerce, Journalism & Choreography, she studied Kathak & Contemporary Dance birthing- STEM (Space.Time.Energy.Movement) Dance Kampni. She heads the Natya Institute of Kathak & Choreography, comprising training, performance & outreach. Madhu has performed & led Cultural delegations to 36 countries, with over 150 choreographies to her credit. She is a panelist at important design, cultural, philanthropic, corporate organisations & currently mentors trans-continental Cohorts for urgent action towards Climate change via collaborations between performing Arts, VR & AI. Madhu is a fellow of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
