Leslie Anderson-Rutland is currently U.S. and international head of workplace experience technology at BMO Financial Group, a financial services company headquartered in Toronto. In her role, Leslie leads the development and execution of the workplace experience tech team strategy that centers around the employee experience with a specific focus on employee collaboration, customer engagement, productivity tools, and environmental efficiency. Prior to joining BMO, Leslie spent seven years at Fifth Third Bank, where she was responsible for leading the creation of its middle market healthcare group in Chicago while also leading an existing top-performing Middle Market growth team. Leslie began her career at Harris Bank in 1996, where she eventually led the bank's Urban Emerging Market strategy (UEM). Leslie has a BS in finance from Hampton University, and an MBA with a focus on entrepreneurship, marketing, and strategy from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Leslie also holds a Certified Treasury Professional designation. Leslie serves on the board and various committees of the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center/1871, she is board chair of OneGoal Chicago, co-chair of the advisory board of After School Matters and board member and treasurer of Chicago State University Foundation Board. Leslie is a Fellow of the 2019 Class of the Aspen Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
