Amy Lenander manages the Auto Buying Platform business at Capital One where she aims to simplify the car buying experience, which has finance at its core, by empowering customers and dealers with digital products like Auto Navigator. A Fortune 500 company, Capital One serves more than 65 million customers worldwide across a broad spectrum of financial products and services. Since joining Capital One in 2003, Amy has held a variety of roles while driving growth, managing risk, developing teams and delivering compelling products for millions of customers across credit card and installment loan products. Beginning in 2011, Amy led the US No Hassle Rewards program, strengthening customer advocacy and digital engagement. In 2014, she moved to London to lead the UK Card Marketing and Analytics team. Three years later, Amy became the CEO of Capital One UK, leading all aspects of that business, later expanding her portfolio of businesses to include overseeing Capital One Canada as Head of International, and Capital One's US partnership with Walmart. In 2021 she moved to Capital One's Auto business. Amy is passionate about developing talent and creating products that make life better for consumers. Born and raised in New Jersey, Amy earned her undergraduate degree in Economics from Harvard University and M.B.A. from Columbia University. She lives in Northern Virginia and enjoys traveling, skiing and musical theater. Amy is a Fellow of the 2019 class of the Aspen Institute Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
