Deji Ishmael is the founder of Afrissance Consulting, a management-consulting firm focused on developing the corporate leadership capital so that clients can continually position for future success by building a high-performance culture in the workplace.
Following his early days building computer networks and information systems for multinationals, he became a project manager responsible for customer interface and commercial success, this role helped him discover his passion for building high performing teams and developing human capacity.
He is an alumnus of HEC Paris & Said Business School, Oxford (Executive Masters, Coaching and Consulting for Change) and he is a recognised Change Management/Transformation consultant and trainer. He is accredited by The Table Group to deliver holistic and transformational strategy sessions using The Advantage model to enable companies cascade and align the workforce for successful implementation of corporate transformation initiatives. He is a member of the Hemsley Fraser Group global Leadership Development faculty, where he delivers award-winning, enduring and transformative leadership experiences for the executives of Fortune 500 companies.
He supports clients to build the needed leadership capability and corporate agility to envision and deliver the future in today’s fast changing world. He works with multi-nationals and other companies across multiple sectors to build needed leadership capacity and corporate agility as clients redefine themselves for success in the future.
As a founding member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Nigeria Chapter and the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) he has been involved in the development of the project and change management practice, education and profession for more than a decade. He is focused on building an army of competent practitioners with passion and interest particularly to effect change in the public sectors entities across Africa.
