Doug Tuthill has been president of Step Up for Students (SUFS) since 2008. SUFS is the country's largest education choice organization, which serves approximately 175,000 students in Florida, Alabama, and Illinois. Doug is a former high school teacher, college professor, and teacher union president. He graduated from the University of Florida and is married with two adult children. He is a Fellow of the 24th class of the Pahara - Aspen Education Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
