Bio:
Sam Sun is founder and chairman of Happy Deeds Charity Foundation, focusing on the improvement of education in China. Sam is also Board member of SEED For Social Innovation, a community that discovers, trains and connects China's young social innovators. From 2010 to 2015, Sam was CFO of Qunar.com, China's largest travel search engine which got listed on Nasdaq in October 2013. Prior to that, Sam worked with various technology companies, and as an auditor with KPMG China for 10 years. Sam is a certified public accountant in China and serves as independent director and audit committee chair of three public companies, i.e. iQiyi.com, Yirendai Ltd. and CAR Inc. Sam earned his B.E. degree, graduating summa cum laude, from Beijing Institute of Technology. Sam is a Fellow of the seventh class of the China Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
