Bio:
Jian Pan is Vice Chairman of CATL, a leading global EV and ESS battery technology company. Prior to CATL, Jian was a managing director and member of investment committee at CDH Investments, a China focused private equity fund. Before that he had years of experiences in private equity and consulting, with MBK Partners, Bain and AT Kearney. Jian served as a board director at a number of public and private companies, including Lvye Pharmaceutical, Shanghai Chenguang, Ceva Sante and Lianjia Ziroom. Jian Pan received a BS in EE from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an MBA from University of Chicago. He is a Fellow of the seventh class of the China Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
