Kindi Zakarni is currently a Board Member at Forte Capital Markets in Dubai, UAE. He focuses is private market investments and also oversees transformation efforts of the Forte group. Previously he was an executive at du telecom, heading strategy & planning for new businesses. During his tenure at du, he also led CEO-sponsored initiatives related to organization transformation, mainly in the areas of organization design, efficiency improvements, and change management. Prior to joining Du, Kindi was in the family business - Zakarni Group – supporting the transition from a ceramics manufacturing company in Jordan to an organization focused on real estate investments. From 2007 to 2011, his role was in business and corporate development. Kindi joined Zakarni Group in 2002, where he spent the first five years in operations management, leading plant modernization efforts. He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University, and master’s degree in business administration from London Business School. Kindi is a Fellow of the sixth class of the Middle East Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
