Bio:
Fouz Al-Sabah is the founder and managing director of Khaleejesque, a Kuwait-based media brand and consultancy agency that explores the Arab Gulf’s creative and cultural scene through multi-platform content, cultural initiatives, and community events. Dedicated to creating opportunities for the youth, creatives, and entrepreneurs, Fouz has worked on developing Kuwait's first national creative economy strategy, as well as being a key expert in several creative economy projects in the Arab region. In 2019, Fouz won the national Entrepreneurial Award at the British Council’s Alumni Awards and was short-listed as a finalist in the Global Alumni Awards. An active spokesperson and academic, Fouz was invited as a speaker at the Creative Futures Forum 2019 in Riyadh, and the World Conference on Creative Economy 2021 in Expo 2020 Dubai. She has earned a degree in business administration, graduating magna cum laude, from the American University of Kuwait in 2008, as well as a master’s degree in the cultural and creative industries from King’s College London in 2011. She is a Fellow of the sixth class of the Middle East Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
