Bio:
Ahmad Alkhayyat founded Three Eight Six in 2019 as a renewable energy platform. He is one of the founders of Taaleem - a K-12 education company based in Dubai with 40,000 students - and continues to serve on its board since 2003. In November of 2022 Taaleem was listed on the Dubai Financial Market as a unicorn. He was managing director of Al Khayyat Investments from 2004 until 2017 during which he grew it from USD 100 m to over USD 1bn by expanding its presence from Healthcare to several sectors including FMCG, Retail and Waste Management He is a graduate of Yale University (M.A. Hons) and the London School of Economics (BSc. Hons). Prior to that he worked with McKinsey & Co. in both Cologne and Dubai, where he worked in diverse industries including telecommunications, ports, tourism, healthcare and financial institutions.
