Bio:
Ayo is the Executive Director of the Africa Leadership Initiative West Africa, a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. Prior to joining the initiative, Ayo worked with the Vigeo Group with responsibility for managing vendor services to oil & gas multinationals and the national oil company. She had responsibility for managing multi-million-dollar procurement contracts with OEMS globally for clients in Nigeria’s Oil & Gas sector. Ayo was an Executive Director at Energy & Industrial Integrated Services Ltd from 2015 to 2018 and her responsibilities covered New Business Development and Commercial Operations for clients in the private and public sectors. Ayo has developed capabilities in international business development, marketing, key account management, people management and business operations. She is an alumna of the Lagos Business School's Senior Management Programme (SMP) and Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Programme (AMP). Ayo served on the Technical Advisory Board of The Bridge Leadership Foundation as an advisor on its Emerging Political Leaders Fellowship. She is a member of the Learning & Development Network International (LDNI) as a Learning & Development. She was nominated as a 2024 Global Leader by the Washington-DC-based Daniel Leadership Institute (DLI). Ayo is the current Nigeria Chapter lead for Harvard W3D, an association of Harvard University alumnae in Defense, Diplomacy & Development. She facilitates training sessions on Leadership and Personal Development from time to time. She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and the Nigerian Gas Association respectively.
Ayo took undergraduate studies in the University of Lagos and the University of Grenoble, France. She holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) with specialization in International Relations & Diplomacy from the University of Cumbria, United Kingdom.
