Haroon Mokhtarzada is Cofounder, CEO and Board Member of Truebill, a mobile app that helps consumers take control of their financial lives. Truebill leverages AI to analyze users’ spending habits, identify inefficiencies, and take action to ultimately improve their financial health. The app empowers people to optimize their spending, manage subscriptions, lower their bills, and set aside money to reach their savings goals. Truebill has raised over $22m in venture funding and is backed by YCombinator, Social Capital, Eldridge, and others. Formerly, Haroon served as VP Digital Innovation at Vistaprint, the organization that acquired his first company Webs (webs.com). Haroon cofounded and served as CEO of Webs, which he bootstrapped while in law school before raising $12m in funding. The website creation platform grew to 50M users before being acquired. Haroon has a passion for technology startups, innovation, entrepreneurship, strategic giving, and elegant problem solving. In addition to the roles at his companies, he is an active angel investor in dozens of technology startups and sits on the board of Bellhops and Minder. He was a former board member of the Montgomery County Community Foundation, American Express Open, Washio and Fieldbook and served as a member of the United Nations Global Entrepreneurs Council. Haroon holds his BA in economics from the University of Maryland College Park, 2001, and his JD from Harvard Law, 2005. He is a member of the 2020 Class of Henry Crown Fellows within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.
