Bio:
Kate Gulliver is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer for Wayfair, the $12B revenue global e-commerce business. In this capacity Kate leads the Finance, Talent, Legal, Corporate Communication and Real Estate functions. Kate formerly was the Chief People Officer at Wayfair where she was responsible for global human capital management, including recruiting, organizational design, talent management, talent analytics, compensation, and learning and development. Prior to leading the talent function, Kate managed the company's Investor Relations team where she drove all communication and relationship development with outside investors, and led the company through its initial public offering (IPO) in 2014. Previously, Kate worked as an investor for nearly five years at Bain Capital, the Boston based private equity firm. At Bain Capital Kate focussed on retail and consumer transactions, including, among other transactions, the acquisition of Canada Goose, the outerwear brand, Skylark, at the time Japan’s largest fast casual restaurant chain. She started her career in consulting at McKinsey & Company. Kate is on the board of Dana Farber Cancer Institute and PVH Corp. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Yale University.
