Bio:
Kate Gulliver serves as Vice President, Global Head of Talent at Wayfair. She is responsible for global human capital management including recruiting, organizational design, talent management, talent analytics, compensation, diversity and inclusion, and learning and development for the company’s 17,000 employees. Prior to her role in Talent at Wayfair, Kate managed the company's Investor Relations function where she drove all communication and relationship development with outside investors. In this role, Kate led all aspects of Wayfair’s IPO, raising $300M at a $2.4B valuation. Previously, Kate worked as an investor for nearly five years at Bain Capital, the Boston based private equity firm. She started her career in consulting at McKinsey & Company. Kate serves on the Board of Advisors of 2020 Onsite. She is a founding member of Inspiring Educators, where she also sits on the Development Committee. She was previously a board member of MITX. In July 2019, Kate was recognized as one of Fortune’s 40 Under 40. Kate holds a BA in political science from Yale University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She lives in Boston with her husband and three young children. Kate is a member of the 2021 Class of Henry Crown Fellows within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.
