Chenai Chipfupa is the operations officer for the Africa Leadership Initiative South Africa. Prior to joining ALI-SA, Chenai has worked with the executive director of the ALI Bloomberg Media Fellowship Programme, co-ordinating the South African, Kenyan and Nigerian financial journalism training fellowship. She also did some stint work within the youthful Young African Leaders Initiative Fellowship Programme in South Africa.
Chenai is passionate about philanthropic and society elevation initiatives. In 2015, she started a blog – NORAHOPE – a platform that tackles depression in young adults and the effects of mental health left untreated in young adults. Chenai holds a BA in creative writing from Unisa and is currently completing a BA (Hons) in development studies.
