Bio:
Alexander is Global Co-Head of Technology, Digital and Financial Services Investment Banking at HSBC. Prior to that, he was Global Head of the Financial Institutions Group. He was also global head of business development, leading on strategy, change and transformation for the Global Banking division. He joined HSBC in 2007 and has served in a variety of roles across M&A, capital markets, and investment and corporate banking. Before banking, Alexander was a lawyer at Clifford Chance in London and Singapore.
He read law at the University of Manchester and the Oxford Institute of Legal Studies and has an MSc Finance from the University of London’s School of African and Oriental Studies. He graduated from Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.
