Title and Organization:
Ann Li is the head of strategy, partnership, and chief data officer for Chase International Consumer. In addition to leading strategy initiatives and M&A transactions, Ann is building a world-class data organization to enable risk, marketing, and business decisions. Ann joined JPMorgan Chase in 2013 as the head of strategy for the Corporate and Investment Bank in Asia Pacific. Starting 2016, Ann served as the COO of China. In her capacity as the COO, Ann oversaw finance, control, operations, technology, marketing, communications, and other functional areas across eight locations in China. Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Ann spent six years with the New York City Economic Development Corporation, under the Bloomberg administration, developing and implementing citywide policy recommendations to strengthen New York’s position as global center of finance and technology. Ann was an acknowledged thought leader on New York City’s global competitiveness and emerging sectors. She represented the Bloomberg administration in testimony to the NYC City Council and participated in the World Economic Forum’s strategic sessions. Ann started her career as a management consultant. While at McKinsey & Company, she collaborated on the Bloomberg-Schumer report assessing New York City’s strength as a global financial center and studied issues such as immigration policies and litigation risk as factors in market competitiveness. Prior to her tenure at McKinsey & Company, Ann worked at the global consulting firm Oliver Wyman, where she advised financial services institutions in the US, the Netherlands, Singapore, and Korea. Ann is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied at the Wharton School of Business and the School of Engineering, earning dual B.S. degrees with academic distinction. She currently resides in New Jersey with her husband and two sons. Ann is a Fellow of the 2021 class of the Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
