Bio:
Gizelle is chief operating officer of the Global Investment Research (GIR) Division at Goldman Sachs (GS). She has served in leading roles publishing research that addresses inclusive growth, including her contributions to Top of Mind: Investing in Racial Economic Equality and Black Womenomics. She is a member of the GS Firmwide Conduct Committee and serves as co-head of the New York chapter of the GS Black Network, a co-sponsor of the GIR Inclusion and Diversity Council and a member of the GS One Million Black Women Steering Council. Prior to assuming her current role, Gizelle was chief administrative officer for Global Macro Research. She joined Goldman Sachs in 2005 and was named managing director in 2017 and partner in 2022. Gizelle serves on the Board of Directors of the DreamYard Project, based in the Bronx, New York. She earned a BS in Business Management from South Carolina State University, a historically Black college/university, and an MS in Clinical Psychology from Georgia Southern University. In 2021, she was named a fellow of the Finance Leaders Fellowship as part of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
