Title and Organization:
Senior Medical Officer (Occupational Health & Corporate Medical Services), Reliance Industries
Bio:
Dr. Suneem Khan served the CRPF from 2011 to 2023, with a stellar record in Northern and Central Kashmir. He was repeatedly honored with DG’s Commendation Medals and Citations for his operational and administrative excellence. Dr. Khan earned the President of India’s Uttam Jeevan Raksha Padak—the nation’s highest honor, typically awarded posthumously—for his extraordinary bravery in saving lives during a terrorist attack in downtown Srinagar on 15/08/2016. Widely respected as a professional, social influencer, and thought leader, Dr. Khan is renowned for his writings on primary health, mental health, fake news, and misinformation. He consistently engages with all segments of the conflict-ridden society, particularly the vulnerable youth. Dr. Khan distinguished himself during the September 2014 Kashmir floods and the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring seamless treatment for CAPFs and the broader community. His meticulous efforts led to a zero percent mortality rate among CRPF troopers in Kashmir during the second COVID-19 wave. A fellow of KBF VIII (Ananta Aspen), Dr. Khan is an avid traveler with a flair for languages. His interests include conflict studies, non-fiction reading, and adventure travel. After 12 distinguished years in the CRPF, Dr. Khan joined Reliance Industries Limited in July 2024 as Senior Medical Officer (Occupational Health & Corporate Medical Services).
