Bio:
Andrew G. Pappas is a partner in the Phoenix law firm of Osborn Maledon, P.A., where he focuses on appeals, complex commercial litigation, and political and regulatory matters. From 2019 to 2022, he served as general counsel of the Arizona House of Representatives, where he provided legal and policy advice to the Speaker of the House and all members of the Republican majority caucus. He previously spent two years as assistant and then deputy solicitor general in the Office of the Arizona Attorney General, where he represented the state, officials, and agencies in constitutional, statutory-defense, elections, federalism, and other matters. He was an associate with the Los Angeles law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP for eight years. Earlier in his career, Andrew worked in the American Enterprise Institute’s public affairs department, where he was responsible for fielding calls from media and pitching AEI scholars’ research. He joined AEI’s Leadership Network in 2015. Andrew serves on the board of the The Federalist Society for Law & Public Policy Studies Phoenix Lawyers Chapter and previously served as president of the Los Angeles Lawyers Chapter. Andrew is a Fellow of the Civil Society Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
