Bio:
Jason is Managing Director for JC&D Retail, a consulting firm focused on public and private equity sponsored retail companies. Previously, he served as Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors for Old Time Pottery, a private equity sponsored omnichannel home décor retailer with 40 stores in 12 states across the Southeastern and Midwestern United States. Before Old Time Pottery, Jason enjoyed a 20-year career prior to joining Old Time Pottery as a Fortune 500 executive spanning Amazon, Gap, Mattel, ArcelorMittal, McKinsey & Company, and Walmart, where he served as vice president, strategy, and business operations for the company’s Online business. Jason serves on Tennessee's State Workforce Development board, the Dean's Executive Advisory Council for Middle Tennessee State University, and the United Way of South Central Tennessee board. Jason has been named a Presidential Leadership Scholar, member of Leadership Tennessee, a Traphagen Distinguished Alumni of Harvard Law School, a Chicago Council on Global Affairs emerging leader, a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, and one of Crain’s Chicago Business 40 Under 40. Jason earned his bachelor's degree in social studies, magna cum laude, from Harvard College and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Harvard Law School. Jason is a member of the 2022 Class of Henry Crown Fellows within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.
