Emma is Founder & CEO of WILDFANG, a fashion brand with a mission to rethink gender norms and how they show up in fashion. She built the company out of her studio apartment cashing in her 401k. WILDFANG is a multimillion-dollar omnichannel business with stores in Portland and LA, and has been featured in the Guardian, the New York Times, Vice, Refinery 29 and Vogue. The brand has reached cult status, with such clients as Janelle Monae, Chvrches, Lizzo, Rachel Evan Wood, and Blondie. WILDFANG has raised over $650k for charities that support reproductive, immigrant and women’s rights. Prior to founding WILDFANG, Emma served in various brand and marketing roles at Nike and Barclays Bank. She is currently a board member with A Kids Book About and WILDFANG and formerly served on the boards of Travel Portland and Oregon Entrepreneurs Network. Emma was named one of Inc.’s Female Founders 100, Oregon Entrepreneur of the Year by OEN, and Executive of the Year by the Portland Business Journal, and her “Yeah Maybe” TED talk has garnered over 100k views. Emma holds her MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University, summa cum laude. Emma is a member of the 2022 Class of Henry Crown Fellows within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.
