Tommy is the Vice President of Ethics at the Boeing Company where he leads a team of global professionals responsible for proactively identifying and implementing strategies to ensure a culture of compliance and integrity across the company. His team also oversees Boeing's numerous mechanisms for reporting noncompliance and misconduct. Previously, he served as Director of National Strategy and Engagement and Government Operations where he was responsible for protecting and advancing Boeing's interests, competitiveness, and reputation, and provided counsel on various regulatory and public policy issues. He supported a myriad of business unit programs, including 787, Space Launch System, and Missile and Weapon Systems across multiple sites. He also served as Co-Chair of the company'ss Racial Equity Task Force.
While in college, Tommy served as University of South Carolina's student body president and established an award-winning literacy initiative for children in the State. He went on to become the youngest and the first African-American president of the University of South Carolina Alumni association. Before joining Boeing, Tommy was in private practice representing a number of companies and organizations. Tommy earned a Juris Doctor from The University of South Carolina School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of South Carolina.
