Bio:
Delphine is co-founder and chief investment officer of investment management firm, Perpetua Investment Managers. She started the firm in 2012 after having spent close to 11 years at South Africa's largest privately owned investment manager, Allan Gray Limited, where Delphine held positions of portfolio manager from 2005 and executive director from 2006, until her departure in 2012. Delphine has over 24 years direct investment experience. At Perpetua, Delphine is responsible for managing assets across all listed asset classes, including domestic and global equities, domestic and global multi-asset class and fixed income. Delphine also champions the firm’s responsible investing approach and activities and is a CA(SA) and a CFA charterholder.
Delphine plays an active role in the South African financial industry through direct contribution in developments around regulatory improvements; societal impact of the industry; responsible investing and stewardship; diversity advancement and inclusion; gender mainstreaming; mentorships and investment thought leadership.
Additionally Delphine is incoming Chapter Chair of YPO Cape Town; serves as board member for CFA Society South Africa and is a fellow of the 13th class of the African Leadership Initiative of Aspen Global Leadership Network.
