Itumeleng Kgaboesele
Itumeleng Kgaboesele is Founder and CEO of Sphere Holdings, an investment company that has invested in industrial services, software services and education. Outside of Sphere, he serves as an independent non-executive director at Old Mutual Limited and Woolworths Holdings Limited.
Prior to founding Sphere, Itumeleng worked as an investment banker at Deutsche Bank (London), Merrill Lynch and Citi.
Itumeleng passionate about education and is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Student Sponsorship Programme. He has also served as a board member of the African Leadership Academy.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town and is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa).
Itumeleng is married to Charmeela and together they have a 14 year old son, Tau-Sachin.
