Bio:
Ignacio Mallol Azcárraga is the CEO of Mallol Arquitectos, a design company dedicated to architecture for more than 40 years with projects throughout Latin America. Ignacio has been part of this company, now made up of more than 200 professionals, since 2005 and has held the position of CEO since 2015. He earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture, graduating with the highest distinction, from ISTHMUS University in Panama. In 2008 received a Master of Science degree in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University, New York. In 2013, Ignacio was selected by Casabella Italia Magazine as part of Architects under 30. He was appointed in 2017 as president of the 14th International Congress of Architects of Panama, InterAcción, by the College of Architects of Panama. Since 2019 he is an independent Director of The Regional LAFISE Bank in Panama. In 2020 he became a member of the Board of Directors of #TodoPanama Foundation and president of EO: Entrepreneurs Organization Panama. He is a member of the CEAL (Business Council of Latin America) Panama Chapter since 2022. Ignacio is a Fellow of the sixteenth class of the Central American Leadership Initiative and member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
