Bio:
Noland is a coach, facilitator and strategist focused on guiding high impact leaders and organizations through transformational change. He has a particular focus on executives navigating issues involving equity, justice, inclusion and diversity.
As a coach and strategist Noland has worked with senior executives at companies including Apple and Kaiser Permanente, national media figures, White House officials, and Presidential candidates.
He has designed and facilitated sessions on allyship for leadership teams at Fortune 10 companies, early stage startups, community organizations, government agencies and academic institutions. He helped to shape Starbucks’ response to an incident of racism in 2018 that resulted in their closing all USA stores for a day of anti-bias training.
Noland works with several consulting groups including ReadySet and SYPartners. He also serves on the board of Van Jones’ social justice accelerator Dream.org. Noland has previously served as the Director of External Affairs at Change.org, Chief of Staff to Van Jones, and a Deputy Field Director on the 2008 Obama campaign. He grew up in Lexington, Kentucky and currently lives in Oakland. He loves bourbon and live music.
