Bio:
Jenn Buechel is the President and Chief Operating Officer and one of the first employees of Delfi Diagnostics, a pre-IPO biotech company committed to delivering high performing, accessible screening and diagnostics tools to global populations. While working at industry-leading companies like Genentech, Amyris, Guardant Health, and GRAIL, Jenn led development and launches of 10 innovative, first-in-class healthcare products across a variety of biotech segments, including biochemicals, therapeutics, diagnostics, and medical devices. Prior to Jenn's product work in healthcare, Jenn was a senior associate at McKinsey, and held a variety of operating roles at Kraft Foods (now Mondelez International) and Procter and Gamble. She has served on the Board of Imagia Healthcare in Canada, and recently joined the Board of Mobilion Systems based in the US.
A native of Canada, Jenn's passion lies in identifying innovative technology that can address healthcare needs of underserved populations. In addition to her for-profit work, Jenn served over 8 years as an advisor and Board member for Equalize Health, a US-based social enterprise focused on delivering deeply-designed medical devices to underserved communities, and co-founded the Women in Life Sciences Executive Network. Jenn has also been a member of the Global Biotech Council for the World Economic Forum, and is a member of WEF's Lung Cancer Collaboration.
Jenn holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chemical Engineering) and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Queen's University in Canada, and an MBA and Master's in Systems Engineering from Stanford University. She and her husband live in the Bay Area with their two children.
