Bio:
Rosy Fynn is a distinguished change leader with a wealth of experience in International
Development, Telecommunications, Financial services, Consulting, and Insurance. She has
over a decade's executive level experience in transforming organisations across Africa, the
United States, and the Caribbean.
Rosy joined the Mastercard Foundation as the Ghana Country Head and is currently the Country Director for Nigeria, where she is
overseeing the delivery of the Foundation's Young Africa Works strategy to enable upwards
of ten million young Ghanaian women and men to access dignified and fulfilling work by
2030.
Prior to joining the Mastercard Foundation, she was the Chief Executive Officer of
BusyInternet, a 4G internet provider in Ghana, where she spearheaded the
turnaround of the business with a focus on digital transformation earning her the coveted award of Outstanding Telecommunication CEO of the Year at the 2021 Entrepreneurs and
Corporate Executive Awards.
She has held senior leadership positions in several organisations including BusyInternet, Bharti
Airtel, Surfline Communications and Millicom International Cellular (Tigo).
Rosy is passionate about unlocking the potential of African youth and women. She mentors young people across several organisations including Sponsors for Education Opportunity (SEO) and Emerging Public Leaders. She is an advocate for women in STEM and was
recognized as one of the Top 30 women in STEM by the STEM Woman Project.
Rosy is also a member of the prestigious Archbishop Tutu Fellowship, a highly selective program focused on identifying, nurturing and equipping Africa's elite future leaders with the
tools to address the continent's challenges.
Rosy holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BA (honors) in Computer Science
and Mathematics from Smith College, Massachusetts, USA.
